Starting out can definitely feel overwhelming! One thing that helped me was doing mock bridal shoots with friends or models. Not only does it build your portfolio, but you also get comfortable showcasing your style.
I totally get how overwhelming it can be! After getting certified, I started by offering my services for free or at a discount to friends’ weddings, which really helped me build a portfolio. You might want to check out some local bridal shows to network and meet potential clients, too.
I remember feeling like a deer in headlights after my certification too!
