Blending SFX tricks into beauty looks

I’m testing encapsulated silicone micro-transfers to add pore texture and undereye smoothing on a clean glam face, using PlatSil Gel-10 with cap plastic thinned 1:5 and an alcohol-activated palette for tint. For those of you starting in beauty, have you tried this kind of invisible SFX — any pitfalls for all-day wear under LEDs and sweat, or a smarter adhesive than Telesis 8 for quick changes?

I’ve done PlatSil micro-transfers on clean glam; under LEDs the pitfall is shine and tiny edge lift at the tear trough once sweat starts. I dab PPI No-Sweat first, use Telesis 8 Thin just on feathered edges with a dot of Kryolan Silicone Adhesive NEO at high‑movement spots, and cut the complexion with a little 244 Fluid so it sits on the silicone instead of beading. “Powder less, blot more” — silica micros can flash, so I blot and mist Green Marble to reset during breaks.

I’ve had luck with micro-transfers, but I found that opting for a light misting of setting spray before application helps reduce shine. It’s like giving your skin a little barrier bubble; just watch for those edges — once they lift, you’ll have a whole new look on your hands.
